The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Zunheboto was established in the year 2014, by the State Government to provide academic and resource support to the elementary and adult education system in the District.

The DIETs have three main functions:

(a) Training (both induction level and continuing education)

(b) Resource support (extension, guidance, development of material aids, evaluation tools etc) and

(c) Action-research.

Location

DIET, Zunheboto is situated temporarily in a rented accommodation at South Point East, Zunheboto as it’s sanctioned infrastructure located at Kahuto Village about 3 kms away from the heart of town, is still pending completion.
